A romantic escape can be the perfect way to spend Valentine's Day with your sweetheart. And a little planning can go a long way in making sure your trip is a memorable one.

Things you'll need:

Flowers, Perfume, Lingerie, Massage Oil, Wine.

Instructions:

Step 1: Aim for a countryside lodging if possible. You'll likely have more privacy, nearby areas for quiet strolls, and the serenity for unfettered time together away from it all; a place with a hot tub or Jacuzzi tub is another bonus.

Step 2: Try to find a lodging where you'll have your own cabin, cottage or other such private space. While Bed and Breakfasts are nice, they don't always provide the greatest privacy from innkeepers and other guests. Some lodgings even offer special Valentine's packages.

Step 3: Make sure all of your obligations are properly handled at work and/or home before leaving. Worrying or having to check in by phone every few hours about such things can truly hamper the romantic mood.

Step 4: Men should consider calling ahead to a local florist in the area to arrange a nice bouquet of flowers to be placed bedside ahead of time. Women might think about bringing their most scintillating lingerie and most alluring perfume along.

Step 5: Weather permitting, a nice picnic can be a very enchanting day outing during your trip. For those areas where cold spells are still prevalent, plan an indoor picnic by the fireside—complete with a blanket, bottle of wine and good finger foods to feed one another.

Step 6: Do some online research ahead of time to arrange reservations at the finest restaurant in the region, and try to set up a nice table by the window or a fireside. It can be fun to get your dessert to go, sharing it together in peace back at your room.

Step 7: Bring along some body oils and a book on massage techniques if you're not already an expert. Leave the television off and put on some soft music, or simply enjoy each other's company in quiet.

Tips & Warnings:

Don't forget to put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door and lock it, to help ensure your privacy!

Living within your budget can be challenging. A few simple practices can help ensure that you are successful.

Instructions:

Step 1: List all of your expenses, savings and income from the past year. Use your checkbook register, credit card receipts and bills to do this. A computer-based financial program such as Intuit's Quicken may help.

Step 2: Determine, as accurately as possible, what expenses you expect to have for the next year. You can project expenses for a shorter period, such as the next three months, and then multiply by four for yearly expenses.

Step 3: Enter this information into a ledger or computer-based financial program to accurately track your income and expenses.

Step 4: Determine what you can reasonably afford to spend each month and then track how well you are doing by entering actual expenses into the ledger or computer program.

Step 5: if you find that you are spending less than you had anticipated, you may want to put more money in your savings account to help out with unexpected expenses.

Step 6: If you find that you are spending more than anticipated, try identifying the items you really don't need (new clothes, CDs, expensive dinners) and avoid purchasing them until you are back within your budget.

TIPS AND WARNINGS:

  1. Allocate a portion of your income for savings and retirement. Retirement funds are best placed in your company's 401(k), if it has one, so that you are not tempted to tap into the money.
  2. You may want to set aside 10 to 20 percent of your take-home income for savings.
  3. Avoid trying to forecast your expenses too far into the future. Doing so can result in inaccurate budgets and overspending.

Blogs are a powerful medium online. Few other tools offer the combination of technology and personality that a blog can offer to a company. A blog can be used as a tool to engage in social media and be a part of the experience with your customers.
Let’s first of all give some thought to the sale process, and let’s think of going to a professional conference. At the conference, you can do great networking. You can have great conversations with potential customers and clients. You can pass out your brochures and marketing materials.
But none of these things will close a deal.
In fact, they won’t even close the deal if you combine them all together. The thing that makes the sale is people. It’s the personality of the sales person as well as the personality of the customer working together that makes the sale.
In fact, I’ll bet that any of you have met a person so dynamic, so engaging, so professional that you said to yourself, “I’d like to do business with that person!”. I doubt any of you can say the same about a brochure, good networking, or a conversation about your product.
This is why a blog is so powerful - not because it offers great networking, marketing, or even conversation.
A blog is powerful because there is a real person behind it.
So how do you build your brand with your blog?
Of course, each brand is different, and each will require different tactics to build. But great brands have one thing in common:
They have been able to link desirable emotions to their products or services.
It’s the emotional differences that make customer willing to pay more - whether it be indulgence, power, sexy, practical, beautiful… brands are built on emotions:

BMW :: Status, performance, “The Ultimate Driving Machine”

Toyota :: Practical, Value, “Our Company Values are Just Like Yours”

So what does this have to do with Blogging?
It means that in order to influence site visitors, build your brand, create selling opportunities, and impact your bottom line, you need to have a real person or people communicating with other real people online.
You need to be genuine. You need to care. You need to want to make a difference for your customers. You need to add value. You need to be transparent.
And you need to be emotional in order to evoke emotions.
In other words, Blogging is powerful not because of the medium, but because of the real message and mission behind your business that is delivered by a real person who cares. I’m not talking about creating an online diary or being inappropriate or irrelevant - and consumers don’t want to hear your pitch anymore. They want meaning - and are demanding it from the brands in our everyday life.
Consumers want to hear from a real person. And blogs and social media are the closest thing to a real person that you can get online.

A diet to lower cholesterol that's effective, safe and easy. This type of cholesterol diet is needed because many people have the misconception that the amount of cholesterol that's in your bloodstream is directly related to your diet.

While a diet to lower cholesterol is one of the factors in influencing cholesterol, a lot of your blood cholesterol is manufactured by your liver.
Your liver produces cholesterol then it's carried throughout your body to your cells. The excess cholesterol is then carried back to the liver. If the excess cholesterol isn't used up, it can begin to stick to artery walls, which leads to cardiovascular disease.
Even though high cholesterol can cause serious health problems, your body still needs it to perform many different functions. It's needed to help build membranes, manufacture bile, and produce hormones. But again, too much is bad.
Since cholesterol produces fatty deposits in the arteries, it is one of the main causes of heart disease. High levels are also linked to mental impairment, high blood pressure and gall stones.
A lot of people don't fully appreciate how essential cholesterol is for good health. It is a non-soluble waxy substance which your body needs for making hormones, cell walls and nerve sheaths.
along with information on the dangerous effects of cholesterol drugs & Much More, has just been made available to the public.
"A Specific Diet To Lower CholesterolCan Indeed Help You In Lowering Cholesterol Naturally"
When recommendations are given for a diet to lower your cholesterol the 'official line' is to emphasize the importance of reducing dietary fats and foods high in cholesterol in order for a diet to lower cholesterol to be effective.
This has been the approach to use with a diet to lower your cholesterol for the last couple of decades and as recent research clearly shows...it is totally the wrong one for a diet to lower cholesterol.
In fact, for as long as this has been the official stance heart disease has steadily increased.
While it is possible to reduce your cholesterol levels with a good a diet to lower your cholesterol, just eliminating fats and cholesterol will not do it! Cutting eggs and butter out of a diet to lower cholesterol will have minimal impact on cholesterol levels. What is more important is that you stop eating margarine.
Also reduce your intake of refined and processed foods in a diet to lower your cholesterol, which are full of hydrogenated fats and oils as well as trans fats. These are MUCH more dangerous than the saturated fats in butter and eggs which your body can handle and indeed needs.
In fact, studies have clearly established that the low fat, low cholesterol diet for high cholesterol approach is a very dangerous one because it can lower HDL, the good cholesterol but only have minimal impact on LDL, the 'bad' cholesterol.
Cholesterol is transported around your body in two different forms.
One form is called LDL (low density) or the 'bad' or 'oxidized' cholesterol, and the other is HDL (high density) or the 'good' cholesterol.
window.google_render_ad();
LDL attaches itself to your artery wall and creates 'plaque' which can ultimately accumulate and create a blockage in your arteries resulting in a heart attack, or a stroke if some of the capillaries in your brain become blocked and parts of your brain are starved for blood.
Your LDL needs to be as low as possible.
HDL travels around in your bloodstream picking up excess cholesterol including LDL and taking it back to your liver for reprocessing. Sort of like a garbage collector!
Your HDL must be as high as possible to ensure superior health.
As a result of any general low cholesterol diet that may be available - your cholesterol situation can get worse.
If you are not already doing so start adding natural cholesterol lowering nutrient to your diet to lower cholesterol.
The lack of essential fatty acids in your diet to lower cholesterol is also a major factor in heart problems.
You can supplement your diet to lower cholesterol with a tablespoon of organic flax seed oil every day which is an excellent source of Omega 3 essential fatty acids.
Note: These essential fatty acids will NOT make you fat, but rather will help you lose weight.
For cooking use only 'Extra Virgin Olive Oil'. Studies have shown that this version can help lower LDL cholesterol and raise HDL but it MUST be the 'Extra Virgin' olive oil.
Ordinary virgin olive oil does not lower LDL cholesterol.
Also, use as much garlic as you can in your cooking. This has been shown to help lower cholesterol.
In addition take a quality natural cholesterol lowering supplement that contains genuine Policosanol which is an extract from sugar cane, (does not increase blood sugar levels) plus guggulipid which is a natural herb from India.
These substances alone have proven to be highly effective in numerous double blind, placebo clinical trials in lowering LDL and raising HDL.
They will outperform the cholesterol lowering statin drugs with no side effects, other than assisting in the normalization of weight.

More powerful than ever, but should Apple have gone smaller?Just in the same way celebrity deaths always seem to come in threes, it's much the same with Apple notebooks. You wait around for ages only for them all to arrive at once. There are two versions on offer, the 17-inch beast for those who like to bathe in the full glory of their screen content, and this, the smaller 15-inch model. The new body design isn't a great move away from what we've come to expect. However, it now has a body cut from a single piece of aluminium. Apple has been hugely criticised for its lack of attention to recycling but this new casing, as well as the glass used in the 15-inch screen, goes some way to addressing the problem. The super glossy LED screen is eye-squintingly bright at its highest setting, and delivers fantastic quality. The screen has an impressive 1440 x 900-pixel resolution, which is surely high enough for even the most professional of needs. The glass enclosure is hugely reflective, but no more than most standard Super-TFT screens. The big change on the performance front has to be the use of NVIDIA graphics. The choice of the GeForce 9400M is great for those looking to edit video as well as play games, as it's 40 per cent faster than the previous generation of chips used in the MacBook Pro. On the entry-level model it comes with 256MB of dedicated memory, so you'll really see things fly, whereas those with the cash to flash can opt for the more expensive model and get 512MB.We're not complaining about performance, this model manages to chug along at a fair old rate. The Intel 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo processor is backed by 2GB of RAM and there is even a 250GB hard drive fitted.A range of ports are lined along the left-hand side of the case and includes two USB ports and a Firewire 800 port. The latter is an especially useful touch, as it proves faster than current USB speeds when transferring files to and from external drives. An interesting touch is the addition of DisplayPort technology, something you won't see from other vendors for a while yet. It means you can do away with DVi, HDMI and other digital connections. If you need to connect with any of these, you'll need to fork out £20 on an adapter. The keyboard is pushed to the back of the unit, which leaves a huge hunk of space between you and the keys, so you'll be hunkered over the laptop to reach the keyboard. The keys are individually punched through the aluminium casing, which makes for a nice amount of space and also makes them firmer in their mounts. The keyboard is also fully backlit, and automatically adjusts brightness as ambient light gets brighter or darker. Die-hard Apple users may miss the old keyboard seen on previous MacBook Pro's, but we like the new choice. The touchpad also gets an overhaul and manages to hide the mouse button away as it's incorporated into the same piece of aluminium. At first it's a little tricky to get to grips with, but once you get the hang of it, it works well.Pinched from the MacBook Air are the finger gesture controls, including pinching two-fingers to zoom in and out of documents, four-fingers to gain instant access to all open windows, and rotating your fingers across the pad to spin images onscreen. The right-hand side of the chassis features the slot-loading optical drive and also a Kensington lock slot.Flaws? There are a few, the lack of Blu-ray in Apple notebooks is well documented and the placement of the mean two USB ports so close together quickly gets annoying.Does this all add up to an object of desire or is it just another run of the mill notebook? There is no denying it's a great piece of kit to look at and even touch. Performance is good but for the price tag it should be. The screen is gorgeous and while the keyboard and touchpad feel great there is some lag when typing. It does get quite warm to the touch quickly and we've not convinced that it needs to be as heavy as it is.We were convinced that Apple would launch an Eee PC wannabe, but what we got isn't bad. We guess Apple just doesnt want tp play with the smaller boys...
